HSE finds one in six refurb sites wanting

THE HSE took enforcement action at one in six of the 1759 building refurbishment sites targeted in its nationwide inspection campaign in March. Inspectors from the executive's construction and field operations divisions issued 491 notices at 348 sites, stopping work or requiring improvements in working practices, most often because of inadequate work at height controls.
