Take action to manage asbestos now, says minister

Health and safety minister Nick Brown has urged owners and occupiers of commercial and public buildings to act quickly in order to halt asbestos-related deaths. Speaking at a HSE conference in February, held to encourage compliance with the new duty to manage asbestos regulation, Brown emphasised the Government's commitment to defending the right of both employees and the self-employed to a safe and healthy working environment.
