摘要

THE DEATH of an untrained demolition worker has led the HSE to bring charges against five individuals and two companies. David Moran fell 8m to his death when he stepped on a rooflight at Chesford Grange, Warrington, in September 2002. Moran and another untrained demolition worker were crossing the roof to get to another part of the site. HSE construction inspector Nic Rigby told HSW that the whole of the asbestos-cement roof was fragile and the rooflights were unprotected.
