State oil company PetroChina announced last week it earned RMB81.8 billion (U.S. 10.8 billion) in the first half of the year, a gain of 1.4% from the same period of 2006.The company said processed 408 million bbls of crude oil at its refineries in the first half of the year, up 3.8% from the first half of 2006.
