API: FEBRUARY GASOLINE DELIVERIES JUMP 3% IN '06 VS. '05

Gasoline demand, as measured by deliveries, was 3% higher in February than in the same month a year-ago, according to the latest statistics from the American Petroleum Institute (API). Gasoline production at U.S. refineries was 8.403 million b/d last month, 1% lower than the year-ago level, API's Monthly Statistical Report for February said.
