Nonreentrant dual atrioventricular nodal tachycardia in a patient with atrioventricular nodal conduction abnormality.

Nonreentrant tachycardia caused by simultaneous fast and slow atrioventricular nodal (AVN) pathway conduction or "one for two" phenomenon was first described by Wu et al in 1975. Reports of nonreentrant dual AVN tachycardias using the fast pathway in various combinations with slow and intermediate pathways have been described.2 6 We report a case of nonreentrant AVN tachycardia in a patient with underlying AVN conduction abnormality and absence of "fast" AVN pathway conduction.
