PSO Algorithm in Comparison with other Substation Emplacement Methods

摘要

Several methods are used for emplacement of subtransmission substations. This paper introduces two new methods and compares them with previous ones, complete counting and Lagrange [1]. One is a heuristic method that is named as improved Lagrange [2] and other is an evolutionary technique using particle swarm optimization.
