摘要

It is one of the most important issues that constructing better Knowledge-Based System (KBS) to fulfill an efficient adaptive scheduling in the complex manufacturing system. A approach for developing the KBS for adaptive scheduling, using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) is presented. It employed UML to describe the system analysis, system design and system implementation of KBS, so various views were built up to explore the static structure and dynamic behavior of KBS. It also used Object Constraint Language (OCL) to exactly illustrate the constraints of class in the system design. Finally a practical application is given to validate the feasibility of the proposed method.
