摘要

The paper deals with the methodology which was adopted to evaluate the dynamic characteristics of Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Electro-Hydraulic Brake (EHB) components. It permits the evaluation of the semi-stationary and dynamic performance of the electro-valves and the motor pump of ESP hydraulic units. This paper suggests the main parameters and tests which can help the car manufacturer in evaluating ESP hydraulic units, without expensive road tests. At the moment these procedures, based on Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) tests, are diffused for the conventional components of the brake system, like the booster, but not for the active components like the hydraulic units. This paper is a first contribution to codify a possible procedure which could be adopted by the car manufacturers to save time during the product development process.
