Continuing this short series of articles on fatigue failures in pumps, Rafael Ocampo and Braudilio Ruiz present several case studies to illustrate that fatigue can occur in typical but also in deceptive working conditions. In particular, they discuss the influence of stress raisers on fatigue failure.
