'Turkish poultry industry must boost biosecurity'

Turkey is the sixth largest exporter of poultry meat in the world, and all eyes are on it when it comes to future growth. The most important message of the 2nd International Poultry Meat Congress was that boosting biosecurity was of the utmost importance. The growth of our poultry meat sector is there to benefit our sector, our country and all humanity. That was the message of Professor Necmettin Ceylan, president of the second International Poultry Meat Congress, recently held in the Turkish coastalcity of Antalya. A venue where scientists, producers, governmental officials and other key players of the international poultry meat trade exchanged the latest information and knowledge. "Our industry is growing fast, so it is of the utmost importance we all keep up with the pace," stated Professor Ceylan.
