IEC and its concerns about international trade

Critical issues such as avian influenza, animal welfare and food safety received a lot of attention when world egg leaders met in March at their annual spring meeting in London, UK. International trade is the primary concern of the International Egg Commission (IEC). The influences of disease, welfare and food safety on international trade fostered determination in the 100 members present at the conference to do something about these problems.
