IEC62541 AMI AMI Data Collection Method and System based on International Standard IEC 62541

An AMI data collection method and system based on international standard IEC 62541 are provided. The AMI data collection method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the step of: receiving and collecting AMI data from smart meters; converting the specification of the collected AMI data; and transmitting the converted AMI data. Accordingly, AMI system interoperability problems can be solved with a highly scalable data exchange standard that can accommodate various protocols and information models through IEC 62541.
