Ecuadoran President Alfredo Palacio named Ivan Rodriguez and Carlos Pareja as energy and mines minister,and president of state oil firm Petroecuador,respectively.The appointments follow the resignations of former Minister Fausto Cordovez(who resigned on June 8)and former Petroecuador President Robert Pinzon(who quit on June 3).
