Enhanced hydrolytic stability and water solubility are two important features for an effective waterborne polyurethane catalyst. Reaxis has developed a new water-soluble catalyst Reaxis? C333 that has excellent hydrolytic stability and provides enhanced properties in 2K WB PU formulations under a variety of environmental conditions compared to typical polyurethane catalysts. This paper focuses on shelf-life stability, pot-life, dry times, solvent resistance and the effect on curing rates.
