Canada:proposed VOC regulations for automotive refinishing products

The Canadian Department of the Environment has published proposed regulations for VOC concentration limits for automotive refinishing products.The regulations refer to automotive refinishing products that are used to refinish,service,maintain,repair,restore,or modify a motor vehicle or mobile equipment or their parts.The proposed VOC concentration limits are aligned with the provisions of the California Air Resources Board(CARB)suggested control measure(SCM),but with some variations.The Regulations will come into force on 1 January 2010,with VOC concentration limits effective for 14 categories of automotive refinishing products.
