Minimally invasive finger fracture management: Wide-awake closed reduction, K-wire fixation, and early protected movement

This article discusses unstable finger fractures that require internal fixation to achieve bony stability and joint congruity. The article explains the value of minimally invasive closed reduction and K-wire fixation for the treatment of phalangeal fractures, as well as early protected movement for these K wired fingers, following the concept of early protected movement for flexor tendon repairs.
