Maori organization spearheads major new aquaculutre complex in New Zealand: Hatcheries for finfish & shellfish part of the plan

Wakatu Incorporation is planning to build a huge aquaculture-related complex just outside the village of The Glen, near Nelson, in New Zealand. It's to be designed to bring together industry, scientists and engineers to more than treble the regions fin-fish and shellfish aquaculture industry. The objective, said a spokesperson for the organization, is to take care of the needs of the aquaculture industry in the area over the next two decades.
