As this edition of'Hatchery International was going to press, the first of Chile's new large-volume Smoltboats had received its finishing touches. The 53-metre converted deep-sea fishing vessel Tiefra Del Fuego is fitted with its own totally self-contained, 600-cubicmetre water-holding and treatment system. It belongs to Chile's Naviera Montero Ltda. (Montero Shipping Ltd).
