Post-harvest life of anthurium cv. Patino as influenced by plant growth regulators in vase solution

摘要

The study concludes that vase solution with BA @ 20 mg/1, NAA @ 20 mg/1 and GA_3 @ 15 mg/1 had longest vase life and improved flower quality of cultivar. Increase in concentration of plant growth regulator positively increased vase life and improved quality of anthurium cut flowers up to some level then started to decrease. Though, the different concentrations of growth regulators showed difference in both the cultivars which might be due to genetic variations.
