It's still only a small operation, but the aquaponics fish-farm that Australia's first doctoral graduate in aquaponics established with a partner near Melbourne, is still growing and was slated to sprout two new greenhouses within a few weeks. Dr. Wilson Lennard has become something of a celebrity in Australia, at least among fish farmers, and he just completed a month's lecture tour across Australia, including the Australia Aquaculture 2006 conference in Adelaide.
