摘要

The effect of bond time, resin level, moisture content, and press temperature on the lap-shear strength of hot-pressed specimens coated with polymeric dipheryl methane diisocyanate (pMDI) has been examined. The strength was found to increase with press temperature, bond time, and moisture content. but decrease with resin level. It was concluded that significant moisture is necessary to obtain high bond strengths. A significant open assembly time effect was also noted with lap-shear strengths increasing with open time.
