The Chinese government has reduced export quotas for gasoline and jet fuel by 40% from previous volumes after completing is 3Q review of annual export volumes due to drastic growth in domestic demand for both fuels due to rising sales of SUVs and continued growth in the Chinese aviation sector. China National Petroleum Corp., CNOOC Ltd., and Sinopec Corp. will be allowed to export an added 3.4MM mt of refined products for the year, down from 5.6MM mt after the 2Q review and. 9.75MM mt after the 1Q review.
