Sources say die crude loadings at the Marsa el-Hariga port—Libya's last operational onshore crude export terminal—-have come to a stop as security guards at the facility have begun to strike and prevented any further activity. "Marsa el-Hariga has been closed for die last two weeks after workers started striking due to the non-payment of overdue salaries," reported a port agent. "The port still remains closed." Sources say that the last vessel to depart from the port was the Aegean Legend, which cast off on May 18, bound for Trieste; Platts c-Flow shiptracking software has indicated at least two more vessels have been standing out to sea, waiting for the terminal to reopen for more than a week.
