North American gas bulls caught a break this month, as mercurial weather reports slanted their way just as the Nymex July contract was heading out the door. July natural gas futures jumped 100 to roll off the board at $4,357 per million Btu. This pushed the Nymex three-day average to $4.281/MMBtu - quite a recovery from a plunge to around $4.15 following a bearish storage report the week before.
