UK Hit by LNG Surge, US Gets Little

The UK is being hit with an unexpected tidal wave of largely Qatari LNG this week and next, while the US hasn't received a Qatari cargo since early February - despite an apparent close alignment of UK and US East Coast netbacks.Milford Haven's South Hook and Dragon LNG terminals are especially busy, with five Qatari cargoes scheduled to arrive between Mar. 16 and 20 aboard the Lijmliya, Al Sheehaniya, Al Nuaman, Mekaines and Al Mayeda. Those ships alone may carry about 740 million cubic meters (550 million tons).
