StatoilHydro's far-from-happy operating experience so far at Norway's first LNG plant, Snohvit, in Melkoya Island in the Barents Sea hasn't put it off the idea of a second train (WGI Aug.6,p5). Nor has failure as yet to come up with gas reserves to support the train, as Statoil is angling to get Russian gas into the facility.
