Warm weather and only moderate demand have enabled inventories across Europe to build rapidly, while North America remains on a much less robust injection path. The net result is an Atlantic Basin total down marginally from last year at 3.75 trillion cubic feet (106 billion cubic meters), with West European storage nearly 63% full and US stores at only 44.5% of capacity (see table below).
