Zeebrugge Ownership Spat Settled

GDF Suez has resolved a dispute over control of Belgian gas network operator Fluxys and its Zeebrugge LNG terminal subsidiary.The upshot is that Belgian public holding Publigaz,until now the second-largest shareholder in Fluxys,will eventually gain majority control of the business and its core pipeline network.In return,GDF Suez will have a majority stake in the terminal but from 2010 onward no longer exert managerial control.
