Japanese LNG buyers have escaped full oil-parity pricing both in the renewal of long-term LNG contracts with Indonesia and in retroactive price reviews for North West Shelf(NWS)volumes from Australia.A heads of agreement to renew Indonesian supply is said to be in the offing.Local reports say signing is possible by end-January,but LNG officials from Japanese utilities Chubu Electric and Tokyo Electric Power Co.(Tepco)tell WGI that a January deadline is not in sight.
