Building new domestic gas pipeline infrastructure-especially in the south-will be crucial to Algeria's ability to fill its planned new export pipes and LNG trains.And industry sources fear it won't happen quickly enough.Algerian Oil Minister Chakib Khelil last month told WGI that a new 700 kilometer pipeline would be needed to link the scattered gas fields of the southwest to Hassi R'Mel,the country's giant gas field and processing center.
