API Convenes Experts to Develop Industry Standards

The American Petroleum Institute (API) recently convened 600 technical experts and stakeholders in Washington, D.C. to review and develop standards in support of energy drilling operations, including hydraulic fracturing. The Onshore Oil and Natural Gas Safety and Reliability Symposium provided updates on standards being developed in the areas of well integrity, environmental performance, community engagement, and equipment quality and reliability in oil and natural gas drilling operations.
