U.S.-based AmTech offers two full-range wire splicing systems, the Ultrasplice 2032 and 2050, for high-quality splices at a low operation cost. The 2032's splicing range is from 0.7mm~2 to 32mm~2 while the 2050 unit can splice from 0.7mm~2 to 50mm~2, a press release said. The benchtop models can be used for wire harness assembly or motor applications. They offer programmable adjustments of splice sequences and splice ranges and splice parameters are automatically adjusted, including splice width, pressure, amplitude and energy, it said.
