Modeling the drawing of bimetallic rods with Forge-2 software

摘要

The results of copper layer thickness changes during the bimetallic wire rod drawing process, obtained both experimentally and by computer simulation, have been presented in the work. The results are statistically homogenous so that the computer simulation enables a highly accurate drawing process to be modeled.The analysis of distributions such as strain rate and stress can be used for a qualitative analysis to compare different variants of the bimetallic wire rod drawing process.
