Modeling the drawing of bimetallic rods with Forge-2 software

摘要

This work uses the finite element analysis method to simulate bimetallic rod (copper-steel) drawing process with different thicknesses in the copper layer. Theoretical analyses were verified experimentally by determining the true strains of the copper layer and the steel core in the deformation zone of a die.
