Hipot testers provide advanced technology, safety features

The Slaughter Company, a manufacturer of electrical safety testing equipment, announced its new line of UL and TUV listed enhanced hipot testers for safety agency testing requirements from such agencies as UL, TUV, CSA, IEC, VDE BSI and European Norms. The new 2900 series of enhanced hipot testers consists of three different models. The model 2925 is a 12 mA 5KV AC hipot tester. The Model 2935 is a 12 Ma 5KVv AC hipot and 5 mA 6KC DC hipot tester. The model 2945 provides 3-in-1 functionality including 12 mA 5KV AV hipot, 5 mA 6KV DC hipot and a built-in insulation resistance tester with a test range of up to 1000 Megohms, a company release stated.
