Asset management — the board game:supporting implementation of assetmanagement in the Dutch water sector

Infrastructure asset management is a major topic in the Dutch Water Sector. Full asset management implementation is a strategic business objective of all infrastructure organizations. In the past ten years, reliability-based techniques for maintenance and operations have been introduced. At a tactical level, business cases, performance management and risk management presently support the systematic development of long-term asset system plans and the capital and operational expenditures strategies.
