In this installment, we are going to explore a little bit on the effects of the wire prefeeding unit, the wire straightening unit and the wire processing machine's wire tractor unit (in-feed unit) on the induced wire curl. In order to better understand how the function of these preprocess components affects the end result expected in our wire process, we need to focus on one of the most important final processes of our equipment: the wire termination. We all are aware of the importance devoted to the terminal crimp quality, this is what makes or breaks the long-term reliability of any electrical circuitry installed onto any consumer good or vehicle. Most of us in the industry have witnessed the twinge of recalls and assembly plant rejects, etc.
