摘要

Chamera Hydroelectric Project Stage-II located on the river Ravi, is a run-of-the-river scheme of 300MW capacity to generate 1500MU of energy in a 90% dependable year, utilizing a gross head of 267m. The project is based on utilization of the hydro-power potential of the river Ravi, available between a point 60m D/S of Bagga Suspension Bridge and Karian Village, near the confluence of Ravi river and Jarangla Nallah in Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh. The project has been executed on turnkey basis by Indo-Canadian Hydro Consortium (ICHC).
