4×4s hit show stands: Three more compact 4×4s have broken cover this month: the XC60, Kuga and Koleos

THE GREEN LOBBY won't like it, but the popularity of compact 4×4s shows no sign of waning. At the Geneva motor show, three more newcomers to this sector showed the 4×4s that they will introduce later this year. From Volvo, there's the XC60, a small five-seat brother for the seven-seat XC90. Just across the gangway was the production version of the Ford Kuga, which uses Focus underpinnings with Volvo four-wheel-drive hardware.
