Jimmy and Alastair Butler (and others besides) have made an eloquent case for seizing the opportunity of current circumstances, and increasing our industry's investment in promoting our product. Those who had the opportunity to hear their case have, in the main, responded positively. Many who have read about the subject in these pages have also shown support for the idea. Of course, support has not been universal, and so we have something of a dilemma. Can we collectively identify a common cause thatwe can all support?
