Thermadyne Announces Chapter 11 Filing, Secures Financing to Continue Operations

Thermadyne Holdings Corporation, St. Louis, MO, announced in mid-November that it has voluntarily filed for re-organization under Chapter 11 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri in St. Louis. The company also announced that it has secured a commitment for 60 million dollars in debtor-in-possession financing to fortify its positive cash flow in order to ensure it has the resources to continue business as usual during the reorganization process.
