Last year's publications in the field of welding technology are evaluated and the resulting findings are gained for the development of individual specialist fields. This literature investigation provides important information without wanting tomake any claim of being absolutely complete. The thematic classification in sub-fields (Parts 1 and 2 in the May and June issues of "Schweissen und Schneiden" respectively and Parts 3 and 4 in the following) makes it easier to find special information.
