摘要

A recent article in the Mushroom People arrested me. Apparently the astronauts travelling to Mars will, once they are there, have to produce their own food for three years. They will, it seems, have picnics with them for the journey, which takes a year each way, but during their stay they'll have to produce their own food. The idea is, and although it sounds bizarre what else would they have, that they will use a growing medium for plant production made up of the remains of vegetables they didn't eat and the remains of what they did eat. Need one say more except to offer sympathy to those working on the project.
