Can you hear me? Facilitating the voice of frontline nurses through nursing research.

Few can argue that frontline nurses are an integral part of the health care system. At the frontline of patient care delivery, these nurses provide and/or supervise direct patient care in virtually all locations where health care is delivered, including acute and outpatient settings, long-term care settings, and in private homes. The delivery of nursing care within these practice settings is a challenge. Health care organizations are being restructured, health care delivery processes are evolving, and patient populations are more diverse than ever. The work of frontline nurses to deliver care is truly a challenge.
