HOW CAN IT BE?? Yet another new Golf has arrived, when memories of the Mk 6 launch are still as fresh as a daisy. It seems such a short production run, compared to the Mk Vs nine years, followed by the eight-year reign of the delightful Mk 2. I guess that Golf production volumes are now so high that development costs are recouped much more quickly than they were two or three decades ago.
