GTI ROADSTER VISION GRAN TURISMO

RATHER OVERSHADOWING the Wolfsburg Edition GTI, Volkswagen turned the virtual world into reality when it presented the GTI Roadster concept at the famous Worthersee GTI meeting in Austria (May 18-31). Originally a purely electronic creation, to feature in the Sony PlayStation(r) 3 classic, Gran Turismo 6 (GT6), the GTI Roadster was the result of cooperation between Volkswagen and Sony Computer Entertainment, the concept itself being the work of three young Volkswagen designers who won an in-house competition to design a vehicle to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Gran Turismo game.
