MIDDLETON BALER HELPS W&S RECYCLING MOVE INTO RIGID PLASTICS

W&S Recycling Services, a growing firm based in Dorset, UK, relies on a twin-ram baler from Middieton Engineering to bale multiple waste streams including rigid plastics from Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) and commercial customers across the UK. With the goal to maximise recycling and minimise landfill, the ME2R100 twin-ram baler is installed at the company's recycling depot in Hum, Christchurch. Producing compact, dense bales enables W&S Recycling to achieve maximum pay-load weights for onwards transportation, a crucial factor for the industry. But it has also enabled the company to spearhead a new venture to recycle rigid plastics. This includes PR PE and PVC waste, including toys, crates and garden furniture, commodities which have traditionally gone straight to landfill.
