Where do you go for information on dental procedures and practices? At the 2008 Annual Veterinary Dental Forum, Jan Bellows, DVM, DAVDC, DABVP, shared some websites that offer pertinent information for technicians about various aspects of veterinary dentistry. The dental website, www.toothvet.ca, was developed by Fraser Hale, DVM, FAVD, DAVDC. When you get on the website, click on the "flashing" teeth to enter the dental section. Once there, you will see "Forms and Handouts." In this section, you will find Client Education Handouts that cover basic dental procedures commonly provided in general practice, as well as more advanced dental procedures that often require referral to a specialist.
