Elisa A. Petrollini, CVT, VTS (ECC), was born with an instinctive love for animals - despite growing up without any pets of her own. In fact, her family joked that as a child Elisa knew all the animals on the street (especially the two Old English sheepdogs that she rode like horses when she was a toddler), but she didn't know any of the people. Because of her passion for pets, attending veterinary school was always in the back of Elisa's mind, but once she heard about the veterinary technology profession and got into the university setting, she realized her true calling.
